Sindy

Sindy: A Three-Legged Cat with a Heart of Gold

Sindy is a loving, three-legged cat who sees the world in simple terms: people are friends, and cats are enemies. She lost a front leg as a tiny kitten, but this only strengthened her love for humans. She hobbles on her three paws to greet anyone who comes to the door, her purr rumbling like a tiny engine. She loves to rub against shins, demand belly rubs with an insistent meow, and happily nap on any available lap. She is a people-cat through and through.

But other cats? They’re a different story. The sight of another feline transforms her from a loving companion into a furious, limping warrior. Her fur bristles, her tail stump twitches, and a low growl erupts from her chest. It doesn’t matter if the other cat is big or small—they’re all on her enemy list.

Despite her quirks, Sindy is the best kind of cat. She is patient with children, affectionate with her humans, and a constant source of comfort. She follows them from room to room, her one good paw carrying her with a kind of lopsided grace. Sindy is a living testament to a loving heart that just happens to have an irrational dislike for her own kind.
