When I was born, I was diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a non-progressive neurological condition that means I wobble a bit when I walk. It’s a condition I was born with because my mom got sick while she was pregnant with me. You might notice that my back legs are a bit uncoordinated, and some people say it looks like I’ve had a little too much to drink!
The good news is that this condition causes me no pain and will not get worse over time. I don’t require any special medical care or medication. I am a perfectly happy and healthy cat who just walks a little differently. In fact, I’ve taught myself to jump on the sofa and chairs, so I can still get around just fine.
What I lack in balance, I make up for with a huge heart. I love to watch the world go by from a sunny window, but my absolute favorite thing is to lie with people and get all the cuddles I can. I am incredibly affectionate and will fill your home with purrs and love.
I am not pathetic. I am a perfectly happy and healthy cat who just walks a little differently. All I need is a loving home with a family who can see past my wobbly walk and appreciate me for the affectionate, playful girl I am.
